From delectable brunches, street tacos, and fine dining, Los Cabos and Cabos San Lucas have incredible restaurants to choose from. Here is our list of the top 7 recommended restaurants to try in Cabo. We are so excited to bring you this list of extraordinary bites and flavors. 1. El Huerto
El Huerto’s Farm-to-table concept brings a whole new level of excellence to our understanding of locally sourced cuisine. While the farm-to-table trend has become part and parcel of our daily restaurant vernacular, actually eating on the property the produce is grown takes the concept to its ultimate conclusion. Not only will you enjoy food from land and sea your plate will be full of only organically grown produce and free-range naturally fed meats. Mix in the allure of a masterful cocktail menu and world-class wine list and you have a dining experience you will not soon forget. Join them for dinner to dine under the stars amongst their impeccably curated outdoor seating areas. The unsung hero of the menu may be the wood-fired pizzas, I promise you will not be disappointed.
2. Flora Farms
When you’re looking for more than just a place to eat you find Flora Farms. Complete with shops, a spa, salon, cooking and art classes, and of course the Field Kitchen, Flora Farms becomes more of a full day trip than just an evening out. Need to get ready for all the food you are about to consume? Join them on Wednesdays for sunset yoga in the mango grove. Want to see where the food you’re about to eat was grown? Schedule a free tour of the farm to coincide with your lunch or dinner reservation. Have something special you are celebrating? There is more than enough room for large and small parties. You are certain to have not only amazing food but an exquisite day full of education, relaxation, or both!
3. Agave Hand Crafted Kitchen
Sat on a rooftop vista in the heart of Los Cabos, Agave Handcrafted Kitchen offers the finest wood-fired cuisine in the region alongside some of the rarest spirits in Mexico. In fact, the inspiration behind the restaurant stems from its two founders’ love for tequila and is thus appropriately named Agave. In fact, you can join their spirits club, “Agave Amigos,” to gain access to the finest and rarest Mexican spirits they have to offer.
4. Carbon Cabron
When you feel you’ve tried it all and nothing could surprise you, book yourself a table at Carbon Cabron, where mesquite wood and fire-grilled cuisine takes center stage. The atmosphere is immediately set when you walk in. Long tables flanked on either side by floor-to-ceiling stacks for wood. Each table is a private space for you and your loved ones to gather and share stories of the day. While the meat and seafood are sure to impress, do not glaze over the vegetable section of the menu. Some of our favorite dishes were corn, broccoli, and “vegetal charcoal” - a blackened tempura onion that absolutely stole the show.
5. Hacienda Cocina y Cantina
If the view is just as important as the food, look no further than Hacienda Cocina y Cantina. Set beachfront as part of the Hacienda Beach Club and Residences this award-winning restaurant features fantastic views of Land’s End and the bay that can be enjoyed from tables on their outdoor terrace or even right on the sand. Dishes celebrate traditional Mexican cuisine with a focus on seafood sourced from the Sea of Cortez.
6. The Office on the Beach
Perhaps the most well-known spot in Cabo San Lucas, The Office is not only part of present-day Cabo but its history. Began as a traditional Mexican palapa in an undeveloped Cabo San Lucas, The Office began as the first on Medano beach, serving locals and a few tourists. As the city around it grew and more tourists packed the city, The Office has stayed a busy and bright fan favorite. Featuring laid-back traditional Mexican fare with a focus on local seafood you are sure to get your fill while enjoying The Office’s sought-after spot on Medano beach.
